With COVID – 19 pushing the world economy at least a year back, there are some things that have been pushed forwards, among them Remote Work and Hiring Freelancers has been pushed at least 5 years forward.

If you went to HR and talked about working remotely a year back, they would most likely tell you that it would affect efficiency, culture, and all these many words used to determine the Productivity of Employees.

But, today, the pandemic made sure that Remote Working is the first priority of any HR, C- Suite, or a Business Owner. This does have pros and cons. But, if you ask me, this is a win-win situation for both Employers and Employees.

Let me explain to you in 3 major Points:

  1. Fixed Costs

How do you achieve high profitability?

The formula is simple. Keep the revenue high and the cost low. And, this concept is more important for small businesses and startups than multimillion-dollar companies.

But, in an organization, there are always people in the office who are more of a liability than an asset. Maybe, at one time, you had hired them because you needed them in one aspect of your business getting. Let’s say you Hired a Flutter Developer to develop your app. But now, the app is not your priority for this quarter. But, what happens? Your flutter developer has nothing to do, but you do have a bulky contract due to which you are paying her and now do not have the budget to pay the “Sales Executive” that you desperately need.

What happened here? You are spending money where you shouldn’t, and the Flutter developer is not growing because she has nothing to do.

So, maybe if you had hired a Flutter Developer from Xpertspool.com, or Toptal, then you would have paid for the 3 months that you needed to develop the app, then the resource used for the Flutter Developer could be diverted to the Marketing Executive.

  1.  Career Freedom

More and more millennials today are not loyal employees as there were 10 years back. Before, you would stick to one career or one company for nearly a decade which would be known as “The Stable Way” for career growth.

But, today, people change companies and careers and are looking more to explore themselves than spending all their time in one organization.

This through the change in Social Factors has made sure that the retention in HR is going to be difficult and employees will have more power than the Employers in deciding if they stick around or not.

So, a big word in the business world, “Adapting” is necessary for every company. Now, it’s more important to have people around who can get things done, and only hire when needed. This helps companies keep agility as a priority in this ever-changing world, and also lets employees explore and grow on their career.

  1. Minimized HR hassles

Let’s say you have 30 Employees in the company. That seems easy. But, wait wait, Jack hates Jill because she does not keep her cubicle clean and one time even spilled coffee at Jack’s table and didn’t clean it.

Now, these two individuals are in the new team that’s groundbreaking for the company. What happens here is, due to their personal problems which tend to arise whenever individuals are in a closed space almost every day, they will not coordinate really well.

But, Ullekh, at least they will have better teamwork than hiring freelancers who don’t care about the company right?

Mmm. Not really. You are talking about adult Freelancers who do this day in and day out. They are professionals who are working for remuneration, and now as you are their customers, will work really hard to make sure that amazing work is delivered.

There is a problem with finding the best ones, but that’s why Xpertspool is here. We vet our freelancers to make sure that you don’t have to spend all your time looking over the Internet and not knowing if they are actually good.

And, the teamwork part. Since they do not have any personal problems and are professionally interconnected, dare I say, they would have better teamwork.

So, what do you think? Freelancing was the future in 2019. But, now since it’s the present as more and more companies start understanding the value Remote working provides, this is going to be a gamechanger for organizations that are early to adapt.
